Replaces/Supersedes OEM Wear Ring 271000101
Replacing this wear ring is a common maintenance function. The wear ring becomes damaged from normal use and may cause cavitation or a vibration when the clearance between the impeller and the wear ring get beyond factory specifications.
A good indicator that it is time to replace your wear ring is cavitation. Cavitation reduces thrust which will result in a significant loss in performance.
